Complete Your Weight Loss Victory With the Body You’ve Earned

Man running on a rugged trail at the Dipsea RaceThousands of athletes visit Marin County each year to attend America’s oldest cross country running event, the Dipsea Race. Although the 7.5 mile scenic route for this race is not considered a long distance for many experienced runners, its challenging single-track footpaths and uneven, steep terrain make crossing the finish line quite the achievement.

Many who have lost a large amount of weight can relate to this feeling of success. Whether you’ve had a shorter weight-loss journey with gastric bypass surgery, or you’ve made healthier lifestyle changes over time, there is no doubt you’ve faced some emotional and physical challenges along the way. No matter the length of the course, losing a large amount of weight is an achievement that should be celebrated.

At my Bay Area plastic surgery facility, my staff and I believe that at the end of your journey, you deserve to have a body that reflects all the hard work you have put into becoming a healthier person. Those who have poor skin elasticity or who have lost more than 100 pounds are often left with excess skin that they cannot lose through diet and exercise alone. Body lift procedures, such as the arm lift and thigh lift, can significantly improve a patient’s mobility and provide a smoother, more aesthetically pleasing body contour.

Although scarring is unavoidable with skin removal surgery, scars are usually well-hidden within the natural folds of the skin. The most noticeable scars are associated with arm lift surgery, but they will fade significantly over time. Scarring is often a concern with body lift patients, but most would agree that the benefits of skin removal surgery greatly outweigh the appearance of scars. Body lift procedures allow my patients to move more freely, wear clothes they were previously unable to wear, and look as great as they feel.

We invite you to continue the celebration of your new-found health and wellness with a body lift procedure in the San Francisco Bay Area.
